Simply became my favourite case

This is my second Smartish case. I heard about them via Wirecutter reviews which I find to be excellent and trustworthy. These inexpensive, no nonsense cases are well conceived and designed. I like them a lot.

I love the slim compact case. I’m used to getting the OtterBox Defender for my phones so a slim case is a big change for me. I have dropped my phone once on marble tile and ones on concrete both from about 4 1/2 feet without a scratch on phone and case. I love that the case is tough to take off so I know it doesn’t just pop off. This case works as it should without braking the bank.

Found great reviews for this case after being disappointed with the Speck I’d ordered. Took extra time to ship and while I loved the heft and feel of the case I didn’t feel the art was a good representation of what was advertised. I let them know and they gave me my choice of how to make it right. Now that’s great customer service! I have the case as I wanted it and have all the confidence that my phone is protected.

Seems quite sturdy. Easy to grip and doesn’t slide too much on surfaces.

Super nice fit, protective and light

I had a major competitor’s case (O) on my new iPhone 14 pro, and when the phone fell onto my welcome mat, the whole back of my phone shattered! After my insurance claim went through, I tried a different case (R), and that case didn’t work with MagSafe, and it felt cheap. This is my third case, and I think I’ve found my new favorite brand! It’s easy to hold, has a spot for a lanyard, no yucky spots to catch lint and debris, and best of all, it protected my phone during another fall! The fall was much harder than the one that broke my phone, and there is zero damage. The wood/gray pattern has more green in it than the pics show, but I love green, so this was a plus for me. Works perfectly with apple MagSafe chargers. Highly recommend!

Bought a more expensive "name brand" iPhone 14 Pro case with MagSafe charging - it worked / looked great but the MagSafe didn't work. Figured I had installed incorrectly (as if that's even possible for something as simple as a phone case) and planned to call their their support but was headed on a trip and needed something fast - so I bought this in a pinch as a temp fix. However, this product worked out-of-the box, was easier to grip, and overall was a better product - so I returned the "name brand" product and kept this one.

perfect amount of grippiness, the grooves on the side are oddly satisfying to hold in your fingers, and its already survived several drops without a scratch. My magsafe charger works great with it. No issues with a screen protector on, perfect fit. Will happily buy more smartish cases in the future.

I expected the sides with the texturing to be almost rubbery and grippy. Well they aren’t rubbery but like a firm polycarbonate which I seem to get grippy the more you use it. Putting aside that observation, everything else about this case is QUALITY. It’s a tad heavier than my older Humixx case but it’s a good kind of heft. I chose this over the Gripzilla because of the corner bumpers. That was a good call on my part. Very tough case and those air bumpers will save my $1,400 iPhone 14 Pro, no question. No flop. No cheap feel. Nice cut outs. Good button feel. Lens protector rises above lens surface but you definitely need a dedicated stick in lens protector. My older Humixx was a great case but the lack of corner bumpers worried me. Glad I got this. Very durable and comfortable case. I feel very confident my phone is protected.

I’m a stickler for phone cases — I’ll buy one, return it. Buy another and return that one. But this one is absolutely phenomenal!The grippiness, and the grooves for the fingers make it so much easier to hold the phone. Absolutely worth the investment — and it’s a good price to boot!Definitely love it more than otterbox!

Best case, Best Value, as good or better than any of the brand name case, Otterbox, Speck, UAG. Just buy it, you won’t regret it!

Excellent

I always used otter box because I have a tendency to drop my phone. But when I got my last iPhone the otter box defender was too bulky and the other one was too slick, so I went on a hunt for a new case. I tried several cases and this one won hands down. I already wrote a glowing review for that case, but to sum it up I went from dropping my phone probably once a day to only dropping my phone every other month or so. I just got a new phone and instantly ordered another case. Shame on Apple for making the phones so similar but not similar enough because I could have probably used the old case on my new phone, but the buttons are just slightly off. This case is slim enough to fit in my back pocket or my small bag, but has enough grip to magically stay in my butterfingers. I’d absolutely recommend this case to anyone who drops their phone often.

Fits the iPhone 14 Pro nicely, it's not too bulky like the otterbox case I used to have, but also feels pretty solid although I haven't dropped the phone yet.

I truly enjoy the wood grain style of the case, but the grip on this case is absolutely amazing.

One of the best cases I have ever purchased and at a much cheaper price. Better than UAG and many otterbox/life proof cases. The case is grippy in the hand, yet comes out of my pocket easily. MagSafe works flawlessly. Really have no complaints about this case.

Great case. Feels very solid and durable. Haven’t dropped it yet so can’t speak to that.The side grips are terrific, I love that feature. I got this case specifically because the expensive Apple case would slip from my fingers while taking photos and selfies. The grips fixed that problem.I like the texture on the sides, it’s somewhat similar to dbrand products.My gripe is that the gray wood grain back looks kinda cheap. It’s too shiny with not enough texture, so it looks like a sticker. Again my comparison is to dbrand products, which do wood grains better, but are also much more expensive. It’s not ugly by any means, just underwhelming.I’ve noticed that the iPhone 14 Pro attracts way more dust and yuck than my old 8+ did. The Apple case seemed to make that worse. It’s not as bad with this case, though a lot of dust/link gathers around the camera.The case doesn’t add too much weight. I usually hold my phone with my pinky supporting the bottom edge, and that gets uncomfortable fast with this case. (But wasn’t much better with the Apple case.) Not awful, but sometimes leaves a dent in my finger that’s kinda sore.All told, I really like this case and much prefer it over the more expensive Apple case. The grips are a winner. Make the decorative element better and you’d be looking at a 5-star.

Case is well built and has a strong magnet. Downsides are that it feels big in the hand and is heavy. The Caudabe Sheath is the much better alternative. It's good for a backup case, though.

Great case for my sons phone who I’m always worried about dropping it. He didn’t want a bulky tough armor case like the OtterBox and this was a great alternative with a great price.

I will buy this brand again and have recommended it to my friends

I bought a $60 case for my iPhone 14 pro and hated it. This case is hands down better. Get it if you are unsure!

Really comfortable in the hand due to the contours and texture of the sides.

As the title says this case saved my four day old iPhone 14 Pro. My dog tripped me on our patio and my phone flew out of my hand and landed on the concrete about 5 feet away. The phone didn't suffer any damage and neither did the case.The two aspects of a phone case I care about are grip and protection. This case does both well. The combination of the finger grooves and the texture make it very easy to hold. The corners are thick and there is a nice protective raised area around the screen. This is probably my favorite phone case I have ever had.

Bought this for my GFs new phone because she tends to drop her phones quite a bit but that I can say about this case is it's got great grippiness, feels Very sturdy !Decent weight and the back design is beautiful, I got the space design and it's perfect.I would think this case would have costed more for just how good it is but after this purchase and having had it for quite some time this company has a new fan !!

labored like many people on which case to get. I usually get a spigen which is an awesome case but wanted something different and liked a few things that stood out. 1. really good grip, 2. very sturdy yet lightweight, 3 did not want black as I can't find it in the darker rooms so was worried about this being too light and getting dirty but not a problem, easy to clean and has a great grey color. easy to find. Haven't tried the mag strength yet, but even without any mag accessories, still would get it

Superb design

This case is the go to case, it has a good grip that are contoured to your fingers and allows you to hold it with ease, it fits the phone perfect with easy control access buttons and it works perfect for mag safe. When I seen this product from last year’s model I tried it and loved it and was super happy when I seen it for the IPhone 14 pro. Best case by far and not bulky like others.

I have been using this phone case for the past 4 weeks and love it. The grip is nicer than the gripmunk in my opinion and about as sleek as the gripmunk. Phone with case on it fits in my (guy) pockets really well. Overall fast shipping time and great packaging that made me laugh!

While the case is in fact grippy and ergonomic- it’s so weirdly tight that it pops up the corners of my screen protectors. No matter what I do, it causes bubbles. I take the case off and they lay perfectly flat with no bubbles. When I put it back in the case it instantly creates bubbles in at least one corner. Never had that problem when I used the speck presidio. Wasted all of my screen protectors trying to dodge the bubbles. So any money I saved by getting this instead of the presidio was just flushed down the toilet. It’s not bad enough to be a 2 star but certainly not a 4 or 5 with the bubble stuff. 3 is fair. Not enough regrets to return it, but I probably would feel enough cause to pause before ordering another Smartish product.

I’ve always bought these cases because the finger holder spots on the side of the case are so functional. I had one for my iPhone 11 and now for my iPhone 14 pro. Same great case for an affordable price

Great sturdy case! This is such a great value for the money as well! The sides are nice and grippy, buttons are perfectly clicky, and the wireless charging along with built in magnets on case are excellent! The design is very nicely printed and is seamless to the main body of the case. Seems very well made and a nice/secure fit for my iPhone 14 pro!

The molded spaces for your fingers definitely help if you have smaller hands. As I keep upgrading phones, the screens get bigger. I use my phone for nature photography, so making sure I have a good hold on it is a must. I tried a bigger name brand case and hated it. It was like carrying around an iPad mini. This is sleek, holds up well, protects my phone and doesn’t add a bunch of weight and thickness.

My thing is cases that are not slippery in the hand. I drop things. This case provides a good grip. Color and styles are limited but I’m liking it over my Apple silicone so far.

Bought this to replace a larger brand one after upgrading my iPhone. Fits very well, looks nice, and the hand grip molded area is nice, it actually makes it a bit more comfortable to hold.

My girlfriend has arthritis in her hands. So I was looking for a case that she could grip securely without having to apply a lot of pressure. The case material has just the right amount of grip, and the finger notches on the sides are perfect.

The case fits snug. Sides are very grippy, especially with the finger ridges. All the buttons work. Case extends just enough beyond the screen & camera so it can rest flat without scratching. Spaced Out print is a bit pixelated if you look closely, but you won’t notice from a few feet away. The print is a bit textured too, giving you a bit more grip. Great case for $35

Needed something with good grip and mag safe. This case provides the perfect grip with good protections with a tempered glass screw protector. Also mag safe so it’s basically all in one. A bit expensive but I don’t anticipate myself needing another case anytime soon so I am good :).

Smartish has always had great quality on their products. I used to recommend them to everyone. But as I went to purchase the latest case for my upcoming phone, I was shocked the price had gone up $10. Yes, I realize EVERYTHING is going up, but the whole point of Smartish used to be big-brand protection for reasonable pricing. But $30 ($35 non-Prime) is Otterbox pricing. I give it three stars for our past relationship and their excellent quality, but I'm afraid the magic is over with this pricing.
