Originally I loved this case. It was low cost, protective and did well for me. I only have one case. I am not a case person. I want to set it and forget it. I gave the Gripmonk three stars due tot he Magsafe feature. Holds on like a champ. Very strong and I find it works well. But in the last two weeks, my phone will not charge using a magsafe charger (I use one for overnight charging and nightstand mode). It is very frustrating. I do not think it worth the time and effort to send it back in to Smartish. I have ordered another case from another brand. It would be five stars otherwise. Cheers

Super smart protective design with tons of patterns to choose from. Love the grippy feel on the sides, but still easily slides in/out of my pocket. Doesn’t add a lot of bulk or weight, and works great with my MagSafe accessories.

This phone case seems to be very durable and yet slim & classy. It fits the iPhone 16pro perfectly, is easy to install, & the textured edges allow a good grip to it. I recommended it to a friend and he likes it too.

Honestly, idk what I could say about this case because it's just amazing. It's thin, easy to put on and take off, it's light, and offers a great deal of protection. I've dropped my phone once or twice on tile and my phone was perfectly fine (with no screen protector). I appreciate the side grooves for sure and I'm not sure you could do better for the price. For reference, I also have a Dbrand Ghost 2.0 and I prefer to use this case over the Ghost and I spent 3x as much on that one, shame on me really lol

I don't know how it keeps up long-term, but it feels nice in the hand and it has a good grip.

I am a case snob and also very rough on my devices.This case exceeds expectations. It keeps a low profile form factor, doesn’t get stuck in my pocket, feels robust, and has already takes a few hard drops without any damage to the case or phone.I’m truly impressed and may never go back to otterbox (one of my faves)

I like this clear case because it showcases my white iPhone. I’ve had it for a few months and haven’t noticed any discoloration. The case works well with my magnetic chargers, too.

This is a sturdy and low profile phone case. It fits easily in pockets and doesn’t pop off like some other cases.

This is a great case, you cannot get wrong. After ordering the different other cases and brands, and getting disappointed with each of them, I finally found one that is not a slippery and can show the actual color of my phone.this is your best option and the best price. I will order an extra one.

Perfect balance between slim and having protection. Lots of slim cases don’t have a high enough front bevel… which I always feel like I don’t need until it saves me from a face-down drop. Love the texture. Easy to hold. Easy to slide in and out of pockets.

I bought a clear case at the Apple store at the same time I bought my new phone. Unfortunately the case I bought was very slick. This case looks just as nice but I can keep a secure grip on my phone without any effort. Very nice, especially for the price! Can't say anything about how good it is if you drop your phone - hasn't happened.

I’m updating my review because I thought my phone had cracked after only a 3ft drop, but turns out it was just the screen protector I love this case. Feels great with the grippy sides.

I carry my iPhone in a belt holder and ordered both cases to try. Gripzilla is slightly bulkier, heavier duty and has reinforced corners. While Gripmunk is slimmer, it still provides robust protection for my iPhone and fits more easily in my belt holder. Both cases have roughened edges and detents for fingers to make the cases more secure in hand. As I plan to carry my iPhone in a belt holder, Gripmunk made more sense for me. But you can’t go wrong with either product as they’re both of good quality.

Smartish is an excellent choice to protect your iPhone. I've used them on several versions. They are not the lightest, but they are very secure, protective (I've dropped my phone quite a few times on hard surfaces), and allow wireless charging with no problems.

very happy with this case. i looked at a lot of clear cases before selecting this. it's not slippery as most clear cases are.the gripper sides are just the right amount for a good hold. the openings line up perfect with my iphone 16 pro. i would purchase again.

Slides into a pocket much easier than the silicone covers I’ve used for years. It still feels secure in my hand. Love it! I just wish there were more color and pattern choices.

I purchased the blue. It's not fancy but it looks good. Like the ruff sides for gripping. Fits well on my Apple 16. No complaints. Simple effective design, good quality.

Unfortunately I’ve had to buy a few different cases for my 16pro. However, this is the first case that actually feels comfortable to hold and gives me security that it won’t fly out of my hand. Haven’t tested the mag safe yet, but that’s mainly because I don’t use mag safe accessories all that often. Hoping this case holds up over time and helps me protect my phone from everyday use.

Great case. Slim and effective (I’ve already had my phone drop or fall out of a pocket 4-5 times and so far so good!). I love the transparent because I can still see the pretty color of my iPhone. All the buttons work great; no problem. Highly recommend!

This case is just right. Good texture for holding on to it. Looks nice and fits perfectly. It’s not too bulky and works with MagSafe charging. I liked it enough I bought one for my dad for his phone too.

Awesome case

I shopped around quite a bit for my new phone case. Liked the opaque 3-D effect of the paintings on the these custom cases (they are really flat), and the fact that it projects a little bit beyond the camera lenses to protect them. The cutout for the camera control on the 16Pro seems to work fine. It took a few extra days to get the custom version, but that was no big deal, and the mix-and-match of the prints with the case colors is fun. Plus, after living a few days with my very slippery phone, I really appreciate how grippy this case is. Its hard to explain, but it's super easy to hang on to. Very happy with my purchase!

Def wanted a case with some grip to it, as i’ve been known to fumble my phone now and again. this case is what i was looking for. its grippy on the sides without feeling sticky. there are slight raised bumps on the lower half outside but it doesn’t make the case bulky. even the back which looks smooth has some texture to it. it fits my iphone perfectly, buttons all function properly. sorry but i have no intention of testing drop protection but if it happens, ill update lol.

For someone never seeing this Gripmunk case or holding it before, I’m impressed, and my teenagers in family gave thumbs up, so I purchased several more for them. Definitely sleek, very well fitted, excellent grip and not bothersome texture but you know it’s in your hands. There are several finger depressions on each side helping to increase feel and grip. Case fits your screen protector with a lip protection. Rear lens also protected with full ridge. Buttons are case color material, wish they were aluminum/ colored, but they feel great and are clicky. The side wall is thinner than I’d like and I wish there was some shock cushioning; as I was coming from OtterBox Symmetry. This seems a great case to maintain slim profile, and protects against basic bumps and everyday handling, and uncertain on fall protection. Definitely not like a Defender or Mous or other similar heavyweight cases.

This is THE BEST case ever! The sides are slightly textured for a nice grip. It fits well and all the cutouts are in the right places. Buy it now!!

This case is probably the best value-for-money out there. Super high quality. Not bulky, gives plenty of protection, allows full use of camera button on iPhone 16, and protects the camera lenses when sliding the phone on tables etc. It’s also grippy in the right places and smooth on the back.

Absolutely love this case. Bought the "black tie affair" color. Fingerprints on the back of a case drive me crazy so while people have said the back flat area of this case felt "slick", I didnt find that to be the case and it seems to attract no oily fingerprints of any kind. The grippy material around the bumber feels great. For $20 it's just an unbelievable deal.

I’ve been using smartish wallet cases for my various iPhones for the past 5 years or so, getting a new one everytime I change phones. I decided to try this new one with a separate magnetic wallet case. I like that it can be taken off so that it’s convenient to use at night or when you want to charge wirelessly. The only complaint is that since it’s separate, it doesn’t sit flushed in the case like with a wallet case and add a bit of bulk. However the protection is great, I’ve dropped my phone many times and the phone is fine, if anything the temper screen breaks but that’s cheap and easy to replace.

Solid phone case. Simple design. Fits perfectly.The camera cover is a bit fragile though as it breaks quite easily.

It’s still new, so I can’t say anything about long term. Haven’t dropped my phone, so I don’t know about protection. It’s a very good feeling case in your hand. Not slippery at all. Doesn’t feel like it adds much bulk. Probably why I can’t report on the level of protection, though I think the best kind of drop protection is just not dropping it. Mine arrived with an issue, and a card asking me to contact them first, so I did. The customer service was as good or better as any I’ve ever dealt with. They replied very quickly, and fixed my issue. I don’t imagine they could do that if they didn’t start with a good product.

I both 2 for my wife and myself. They fit the iPhone 16 Pro perfectly and are well made. Really add to the “grip ability “ of the phone. Ordered from Amazon and unfortunately the one was not the correct item. Following the instructions in the package, contacting the company directly and they are sending the correct case. I love this case. It is thin and has a good grip. I am just not sure if it would hold up to a fall. I liked the color and it fits well on the phone but does not seem like it would protect my phone. I would still recommend it if you are careful.

This is easily the best phone case I’ve had. Great fit, great color and great grip texture around the edges. This is the first case that I’ve had that is actually fingerprint resistant!

Well thought out design with finger indents, but it’s hard rubber, I like more of a grippy silicone feel.

Overall I really like the feel of the case, but the biggest problem for me was that it wouldn't charge with any of my non-Apple wireless chargers... the only thing that would work with it was the Apple MagSafe charger.If I had known about this sooner I would considered buying a different case. A cheap clear case for example wireless charged my phone just fine.

I really like this case. I like slim and simple cases which this one is. But it is durable and rugged enough to do the job.The biggest issue I have with the case is the portion that covers the new camera button is flimsy and I can see this breaking in the future.

I just got it so haven’t dropped my phone (yet) but I really like the fit and feel. Grippy sides that are rounded so no sharp edges. Looks sturdy enough for daily use. Will update if anything changes but so far it’s a keeper. Also love the minimalist recyclable packaging and the included sticker!

I would go as far to say it’s the best case I have opened but for its price it’s great. Phone feels protected without extra bulk. Sides are grippy so I have not dropped it since.

Purchased for an iPhone 16 Pro, after using on an iPhone 12. Would highly recommed for the price and the amount of protection for daily use.

The case seems well-made and has a lot of grip. However, the colors are so ugly. The mountain's design greens are so saturated and unnatural. Also, I didn't notice this before buying, but what is that red spot on the bottom? If that is supposed to be the sun, it's such a bad rendition. At first, I thought it was a mistake, but then I noticed that even the photos on the product page have it, so this was intentional...

Love the product. The edges are very thin and my fingers are fat, so they tend to touch the screen by mistake a lot. I have to get used to that. I had purple from my iPhone 14, but they don't make purple for the 16.

Very good face coverage and lens coverage. I have used this brand before, so there is no need for me to shop around. I bought a glass cover/ protector elsewhere.

The case is ok, but mine came with some weird marks on the top - almost like a white residue or paint. I tried scraping them off but they stayed. The back is a little slippery too which worries me

I�ve been using the gripmunk cases for the past three iPhones and have been happy with them. Unfortunately this version for the iPhone 16 pro felt heavier, bulkier in my hand, and the edges of the case were higher than previous versions. It made it harder to swipe due to those higher edges.

This is now my third iPhone to use Smartish cases. I like the simplicity, the quality, and the strength of the magnets. My last one for my 14pro was in great shape after 2 years, with only slight discoloration that was mostly dirt. I have the same expectations for this iPhone 16 Pro version.

This is a nice simple case. The side material feels great in the hand however the back material is a little slick. If they made the whole cause out of the side material it�d be perfect.

I don�t often write product reviews, and I�m sure this is a fine product that works for most people - but I genuinely hate the way this case feels. The back is too slippery/untextured, and the edges feel like you�re touching a course, textured, dry, rock. Aesthetically it looks great, but I just hate touching it.

This iPhone 16 Pro case is exactly what I needed. It�s slim, lightweight, and fits perfectly without adding bulk. The raised edges around the screen and camera provide great protection, and the buttons remain responsive. The material feels premium and resists fingerprints, keeping my phone clean. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality and peace of mind!

I've had several cell phones and cases. My Gripmunk case is by far the best! It fit my phone perfectly and was a snap to install. The textured grippy feel and molded finger indentations are added pluses.

Perfect size for my 16 Pro

I bought this case after reading a number of reviews of it. I was somewhat cautious in terms of my expectations. Now that I have used it for a couple of weeks for an iPhone 16 Pro, I can say I really like the Smartish Gripmunk.I think this case is a great compromise between a minimalist case that doesn't cover up the form and fit of the phone itself but at the same time provides enough protection.Mild texture on the ring makes it very grippable, yet doesn't overdo it. Perfect. Back is very lightly textured. So cleanly grippable, but not sticky and still maintains that flat ring on the phone (as opposed to a rounded ring).A couple of details here: I am a minimalist and I think that less is more--but, by the same token, I have owned iPhones since the iPhone 3 and have never broken a screen--I have dropped some, but have never broken any of them. So, in comparison with other users, my needs may be modest in comparison.I do need to say that I let my hands be my guide on this and how it feels is more important than how it looks--this case feels great in my hands. And the price is icing on the cake. I highly recommend this case. For me, it is difficult to imagine a better case.

This was my 1st Smartish case. I wanted something for my new iPhone 16 Pro that would protect but not be heavy. The grip monkey fit perfectly. I like the grooves for my hands, and I appreciate that the camera button on the side is surrounded on all sides but still easily accessible.The soft microfiber lining is also a big bonus.

For IPhone 16 Pro: Grippy sides. Smooth back so I can attach a grip. Looks sharp!

I was surprised at how high quality this case was. It�s not just a clear case, the sides have a thicker translucent texture so it feels sturdier. I really like it so far, but haven�t dropped my phone yet so unsure how protective it is. I hope I never find out�

It's very comfortable in my hand, and I feel unlikely to drop it because of the grippy texture. It also holds onto my wallet much better than without a case.

Just purchased so drop test is TBD but I wanted to leave a review because I really love the feel of the case. It has a textured, almost wavy, grip along the sides of the phone which subtly makes it a very nice feel in the hand. What I like most is the material is not the typical neoprene sticky case that clings dust and lint from your pocket. It�s perfect so far.

The texture on the sides is perfect. I drop everything. It fits nicely and looks pretty.

I loved this case on my iphone 14 pro because of the feel. Grip was great and the edge was so low that I barely noticed it. Unfortunately this is not the case with the case for iphone 16 pro model

This case for my iPhone 16 Pro work well with the Tesla wireless charging pads. The 15 Pro case didn't and was a dealbreaker, but this one does so hooray! I also like the way they�ve contoured around the camera control button better than other cases I�ve tried. Nice work, Smartish!

Spent a weekend with this case so far and it�s fantastic in all the right places. Great texture for grip on the sides, the back also has some tactility to it, which is really nice. I tried the clear cases and those were too slick on the back for my at times sweaty hands. Slick palms or not, this felt great. Doesn�t add too much bulk. Also the intentions on the sides and finger grips felt really well placed and natural. If it lives up to it�s billing for drops, this might be the perfect case.

Been buying these cases for years now. Great grip. Works perfectly with MagSafe. Feels good in your hand - enough grip to hold but not be too textured.I can�t speak for the designs though, I�ve always had a basic color but the blue holds up the 2 years.

This Smartish case fits my iPhone 16 pro like a glove. The phone easily popped right in and there are no gaps between the phone's body and the case. The top edge of the case is raised slightly above the screen so it protects the screen when setting your phone face down on surfaces and the same goes for the back opening for the camera cut out. There's a nice textured grip that is neither too hard, slippery or soft. Cut outs for the camera buttons are good enough to operate the new touch sensitive camera button on the new iPhone 16s.

Love the grip and the shape of the edges. Will look for this brand next time too even tho this was a first purchase.

This is the second time I've bought one of these for my new iphone. The first one was for a 13 Pro Max that was the only case I used for over 3 years.l, and it helped the phone survive many a drop.The quality is excellent and it adds just the right amount of grip without being too thick.

Sure the phone looks good but I like to protect it to retain value for next years upgrade.I drop my phone often. This will keep it from breaking. I mainly like the grip on the case. I have one for the iPhone 15 pro and 16 pro.

I�ve been a long time user of Smartish cases for years, and they�re great! I�ve always gotten the solid blue color. This review is in particular about the striped version. I was shocked to see it be so low quality. It looks like an inkjet printed sticker placed on the back of the case. You can see the printing artifacts in the case, and the lines aren�t sharp. It just looks low quality, far less than what I�m used to with the previous cases. I�d recommend sticking with the solid colors and not getting a design. Cheers.
