These are great cases! I’ve had the Gripzilla on black on my iPhone 11 from when it first came out till I got my 15pro max. I’m really hard on my phones and was my first time never cracking a screen! Could be because it’s harder to drop with this case. Got two for my 15pm and haven’t had an issue for two years! Get Smartish you could say they make good-ish cases.

Perfection! Look no further, this is it. Slim, grippy, and the perfect amount of MagSafe.

Coming from a silicone case I was worried about getting one that was too slippery. This was one of the few that had textured grippy sides, but a hard plastic back. The silicone ones were constantly grabbing paper and getting stuck in my pocket. This slides in and out while still feeling firm in the hand due to the textured sides.

It makes my phone more slim and looks sharp. But unfortunately it's not scratch resistance and drop resistance too. So, you better be careful with your phone.

What a nice case! I feel like I’ve had them all and this one just feels a little different. A little grippier. A little higher quality - just a little bit nicer over. Even the packaging was really well thought out. Not just another cheap commodity type iPhone case. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for something special.

Very minimalist case.Fit is great, easy to put on, while also snug enough to feel comfortable that it won’t just pop out the case.Grippy around the edges smooth on the back. Drop it once by Mistake of course and don damage to phone. Great for the price and color as seen in pictures.

This is a great item. It is nonslip and I really like it. I am buying another one. The reason for the four stars is that is is porous (for nonslip reasons) and it picks up dirt easily.

My iPhone 15 pro max went through the laundry with this case. The only damage was to the screen protector which was scratched badly. The phone never stopped working and a Verizon store employee said it appeared to be OK. I had put it in a bag full of silica packets from many bottles of pills. If there was water intrusion it has caused no problems so far and may not. Physically there was no damage to the phone after 45 minutes of water and spinning in a high effeciency washer.

I purchased this as a gift for my son and he absolutely loves it. He loves the fact that it is so slim, he can barely tell the difference after putting on his phone. It also has a great quality that keeps the phone from slipping out of his hand. It also has the added bonus of being able to charge it via the magnet unlike most cases that block that feature on the iPhone.The price is great, the quality is excellent, the fit is perfect and the functionality is top notch. I would highly recommend this phone case!!

My husband has spent a ton trying different phone cases, plus adhering grippy stickers, etc. After all the trials, he finally bought this case. It is EVERYTHING he wanted… all at a very reasonable price. Feels chunky without actually being chunky. Nice, comfortable grip / no slip. And looks good + works with all his mag safe chargers. So happy I won’t be seeing even more phone cases and modifiers in our Smartish cart now!

I bought so many phone cases and was going to keep the best and return the best, this one is my favorite by miles. I will say that the camera protector is metal but is barely lifted above the edge of the lens if that is something you are concerned about. The back does smudge a bit and you can see a MagSafe ring, but only if you look, it’s really insignificant. The grip is something that you have never felt before and I know that for a long while I’ll have this type of case

Good protection for the phone body, not so good for the camera lenses. I am clumsy and have dropped the phone many times. Phone still works a charm, but the protection ridges for the lenses are too compact, and I have broken several sets of lens protectors. Fortunately, I had the lens protectors and camera lenses are still fine, but the lens protectors are a must. I am a hiker and backpacker, so I finally decided to ditch this and get a heavier duty case that also offers better lens protection.

I've never dropped a phone with Smartish cover on

The case fits my iPhone 15 Pro Max perfectly and is very secure while not being too hard to remove if needed. The textured edge provides a nice bit of grip. The magnets are strong and work well with all of my magsafe accessories. I've had the case for a bit over a year and it's only mildly scratched but overall still in excellent condition.

Durable. Good material. Note, this is not a high friction case like the silicone styles which. It’s much better, slips easily into pockets.

Works as intended, just gets dirty rather easily. I have the blue version.

The grip on the side keeps my phone from falling out of my pocket or slipping out of my hands. The print on the back is neat as well.

I had never tried the Smartish brand prior to this and I am in love with this brand. These phone cases have amazing designs and are well made. I love the textured sides that make it easy to hold on to your phone without it always feeling like it's going to slip out of your hand. The buttons work great while the phone is in the case. There is nothing more frustrating than those button spots not lining up perfectly. Not the case with Smartish. I have since bought several more for myself and as gifts. Everyone I've given one to absolutely loves them. Can't wait to see what design I'll buy next! I just wish they would come out with some for the major sports teams. :)

It defended my phone multiple times when it fell down

Sides are textured for good grip. Back is less textured but still better than the rest. I tried over 15 cases and this was the best. Magsafe is strong as well. Case is still slender, which is what I want.

Wasn’t sure coming from an all silicone case. Very solid protective feel without the bulk and weight I was worried about. The grooves on the side are unnoticeable with exception of fingers where it’s handy. Just got, so can’t comment on dropping yet, but looks and feels very nice - beyond expectations. Definitely recommend :)

I have bought several cases. Wallet case, comes in handy at times but dont like having to open it every time I want to just use the phone at home. Some have been so slippery these arthritic hands let it slide right out of my hands. I love this one. No big grippy on the side, just perfect. I havent dropped it yet. Love the choice of colors also.

This is a perfect fit for the buttons, the cameras, and the top notch. It slips on and off easily enough to be protected & functional at the same time. I don’t know if the ridges and texture on the side are actually effective, but they seem to help a bit with the grip. It definitely looks much more expensive than it is. I combined it with the sinjimoru strap & they fit together perfectly. Wirecutter did me right on this purchase!

I was expecting a slippery case with a cute design on the back that would probably scratch off in a couple of months. But this case is not that! It’s grippy on the sides (it almost feels like cloth, it’s not rubber) and for sure will provide protection for my phone. I wasn’t expecting much but I got something that far exceeded my expectations. This is a great case. I’ll be buying more from this company in the future because the other designs were cute too.

Protects the phone, charges on magnet charging stands but seems to not allow charging on QI chargers.

There's a lot to like about this case - it's taken good bits from big brands like Mous and Caudabe, and made them a lot more pocket-friendly, in many ways.I'd not heard of the brand before, but having tried (And rejected) cases from Mous, Pitaka and Otterbox, this came up as a suggestion, and having done some more research on it on American websites, where the company is clearly better known, it reviewed well.The packaging is fun, minimal, and card-based, so it's recyclable. Good start. Inside, you get a few different cards, encouraging you to review the case on their website, and the offer of a free screen protector, but only if you're in America. A shame not to extend this offer to the rest of us, especially if you expect us to review your products, Smartish!I really like the colour. It's a brighter blue than the blue of my iPhone 15 Pro Max, which I like. That being said, because the camera's not covered, you can still see the original blue of the phone, and it works well with it.Fit is good. The phone snaps into the case reassuringly, and there's no chance of it falling out. You can work it out of the case with a little effort, but nothing too difficult. One of my bugbears remains though - the sides are not strengthened, and as such, it's not that difficult to pull them away from the side of the phone. It wouldn't be impossible for dust and dirt to get in there.The grip on this is what Smartish market themselves on. If you've ever had a Caudable case, you'll know this texture well. It is very finely textured plastic. I suppose you could compare it to well-used sandpaper. Unlike the Caudabe cases, the textured surfaces are only on the edges of the case, and not on the rear of it. The rear is smooth with subtle branding. This makes it much easier to slide into a pocket. There are also subtle waves in the plastic edges below the level of the buttons, to help you grip. It's not made much difference to me, but I have a Pop Socket which I use for grip, so it wouldn't be a feature I'd make use of. It's been fine to hold though, and it's not slipped out of my hand, nor have I felt it might, so in that respect, I would have to say it's a good thing.One massive plus for me, as someone who doesn't charge with MagSafe, is the very generous size of the port cutouts at the bottom of the case. Otterbox's cases have such narrow cutouts that a lot of my chargers don't fit. I will admit that I use larger-headed USB C charge cables, with built-in LCD displays to show the wattage being used by the phone, but these have been no problem at all for the Smartish case, as you can see from my photos. I could poke them all the way through the cut out because the cut out is large enough. A big tick.Speaking of MagSafe, this is far better than the Otterbox's. It holds my Pop Socket on securely, grips nicely onto my magnetic car mount, and charges fine through the case. The Otterbox let go of my Pop Socket as I walked up the stairs, leading to it bouncing down the stairs, but there's no danger of that happening here. A nice, strong grip.Alas, I am going to join the reviewer who commented on the buttons, or lack of them. Some of the promotional photos shown on the Smartish listing show replaceable, clickable buttons. Unfortunately, these have been replaced with annoying de-bossed shapes with cutout edges in the case. They work, but they lack that satisfying click, and experience tells me they're a weak point in the structure of the case. It just looks cheap, especially when you can see they've made an effort to include proper buttons previously. Please put the buttons back in, Smartish - we like buttons!Overall then, this is a good case. It's not quite perfect, but in terms of what I'm looking for, it certainly outclasses Otterbox, is nicer on the hand and a nicer colour than Caudabe, and is better value for money than Mous. The hunt for the perfect case continues, but I'm more than happy to keep this on my phone until then.

Light weight slim

This is a very nice case that I bought because my Apple case already looked so bad after only a few months of use. I was pleasantly surprised that I have been missing out on the quality of this brand. I will buy this brand from now on providing its availability as new iPhone models are introduced. It is a slim case, easy to hold with grip indentations, excellent MagSafe compatibility, nice tight fit, and still looks brand new (no wear at all) after a month of use. The price was great too! I highly recommend this brand. I wish Smartish made iPad cases.

Who would have thought a $20 case could be as good as some I’ve purchased for $50 or more? This case feels very different in the hand. The outside frame has an almost gritty stone-like feel that makes is slip-proof and secure. Coupled with the finger indents, it’s easy to hold and less likely to slip out of your hand. But on the negative, no real buttons, just molded in covers and the lip around the screen is quite low and easily flexed.

I've only bought Smartish cases since I first found them after dropping my iPhone in an Apple Leather case and having to have the screen replaced. Apple wouldn't refund the less than 30 day old case or comp the screen repair when it broke in their case.I drop my phone. A lot. I work in IT, we end up in all sorts of awkward positions and stuff is constantly getting knocked out of our pockets. I drop my phone at least once a week and I'm not even the slightest bit worried unless it's been snowing and there's rock salt out. Zero screen cracks with this case and the same ones I've bought for relatives. Best purchases I've made.

I really like the grippyness of this case.But, I really wish the sides extended further past the screen. With a screen protector on, the screen is basically flush with the side.

I bought this case as an inexpensive option while I waited for a more expensive case to be delivered. I am surprised at how comfortable this case is as I wasn't sure what to expect. The case provides a good grip in the hand, covers the glass well, and fits into my pocket easily.cI liked it so much I canceled my order for the more expensive case, ha!

I chose this case because the description said it was grippy. It IS, but that also means the sides get dirty easily because of the grippy texture. Overall, it’s a nice, slim case and the green color is really pretty, but I have to clean it quite often or else it looks bad.

I wanted to like this case. The reviews seem to be generally positive. It's a nice no-frills case, but it was a bit too slippery in my opinion. I enjoyed the slight grooves for your fingers to hold the phone, but the back panel of the case is as sleek as the phone itself, providing no grip whatsoever. Also, the material seems to attract small pieces of lint and specs of material from anything it comes in contact with. I found this quite annoying.I will say the magnets in this case are STRONG. It lifted my Nomad Base One when lifting it from the Magsafe pad. I'm only docking a star because it's a very decent case for the cost, but the grip on this could be improved.

The button are very nice, not too stiff, and fit perfectly the iPhone, the case is very well fitted.Absolutely recommend if you want a protective grippy case that feels premium and is not too bulky either.

Great cases!! My 2nd one and I love them

I was in the market for a new case as my previous one was cracking after being dropped a few times and hard to take out of my pocket. I don't like bulky cases so I was looking for a slim but sturdy case made with quality materials. This case delivered on all those points, as well as looking good while doing it. It is slim and lightweight in my pocket, easy to take out and hold, and feels like it's made from materials that will last. After having it a little over a week and having dropped it a couple times you'd never know it made contact with concrete. I highly recommend this case and look forward to using it for the foreseeable future!

I actually liked this case but it wasn’t what I needed. If you’re like myself who’s looking for a case that fits with the backbone controller, try Peel cases.

It's hard to find a MINIMALIST case that works overall. I tried Caudabe Sheath. It is a very nice case. But it gives Iphone a brick-like feel. It gives it a rectangular feel in the hand that feels like the sides are high up, giving the weird impression that the phone is much heavier than the Caudabe case-weight actually adds. The Caudabe case is actually LIGHTER than the GM case, but FEELS heavier. I got the Gripmunk for my kid and liked it much better than the more expensive, lighter Sheath, because it gives a slim-feel in the hand, while still being very grippy and solid feeling. The sides have grip indentations that feel natural and give confidence. Side walls FEEL lower, but actually may not be. It's one of those things you have to actually feel. On paper, may seem same. Potential negative for GM is, the back of GM is smooth, has no character. Caudabe back is far nicer. BUT... it makes no substantial difference in actual use, for me. Grip is not compromised. Much prefer the GM. I would definitely buy again. The lower price makes it a no brainer.

I’ve tried so many cases, many of them the expensive ones directly from Apple, and this is by far the best case I’ve used so far. The case has a great feel to it, it’s a good fit, and they have so many styles to pick from. As soon as I got it out of the box, I knew it was a good case. I’m never using another brand again.

I like the case. It fits the iPhone 15 Pro Max great and provides good protection while being slim and lightweight. Unfortunately, the color I got (blue) shows fingerprints…like a lot. The oils from your fingers will leave prints on the case and they are not easily cleaned off. Other than that, the case is good.

The case is really good itself. I wanted a brighter color so that I could see my phone if it’s sitting somewhere and hopefully not lose it as easily. It’s tight on my phone and doesn’t feel loose around the edges or buttons or anything. It’s safe for wireless charging. Doesn’t block the wired charger cord or the cameras. Isn’t bulky and fees like good quality. Love the grip and slight ripples around the sides but they might get dirty and discolored over time. I’ve had the case on for almost 3 weeks now. The only weird thing that bothers me is that little hairs keep getting caught around the edge of my screen in between the case. Idk if it’s just me bc i do have pets but it’s just mildly annoying and I don’t remember that happening with other cases. Might just be the screen shape of the 15 pro max. So every so often I have to pull a little hair out from the edge of the screen. Other than that though it’s worth the price and does the job.

This case is a steal of a deal. It’s practically a generic DBrand, except it’s not generic. The quality is great and the price is even greater. $20?? Yeah, hard to beat that. It’s slim, comfortable to hold, very grippy, and mag safe compatible. In fact the magnets are really strong. Plenty of access to your charge port, and the buttons are really clicky.I’ve owned multiple of these cases, for the last 4 or so iPhones and I never regretted any of them. Quality Control is on point.As far as durability, it’s about as durable as you can expect a case like this to be, your normal waist and chest high falls, slips off your lap/pocket, and your phone will be fine, I have a camera lens protector and screen protector on just for the extra safety but for normal daily use this case will handle it.Smartish once again nailed it. I’ll continue to be a customer with each new phone I purchase.This is for the company if they’re reading this…I’d really like to see maybe some stick on skins for these cases(what dbrand does) this case has the perfect look to do it with. Just a suggestion.

Grippy and lightweight. It’s been much loved and abused but it’s clear as always!

Color is not the same as photo. Purchased what appeared to be the light green cover but it was a dark green.Delivery was quick and package was received without damages.

At around $20 this is not only a great value it’s also one of the best MagSafe cases I’ve ever used. Love the way it feels in my hand and I’ve yet to drop my phone. Love it!

The case has a great texture on the outside, and the buttons are much nicer to use than just on the phone itself. They really thought this out. It provides protection around the lenses so you're laying you phone on them when you set in down on the table. I piaid a whole $14.95 what a great deal after spending all of that money on the phone :D

First off the tab to open the phone case box was a great edition.The phone case itself is as grippy as the caudabe sheath as i tried the caudabe previously. Personally i dont think its that grippy but the grooves in this helps albeit minor and feels comfortable.The back of the phone is nice and smooth, gives ur fingers a break from the textured edges. Maybe if i could try out the gripzilla, i might have gone for that instead but this being close to half the weight and also half the price when i got it, really sold this.Would definitely recommend this if you intend to get the caudabe sheath as the finger bumps feels good.One thing to note is that if you were to run your hand over the back of the case, you can feel the magsafe magnets… a little disappointing tbh.Another thing i just realised while typing this review on my phone is that due to the textured feel all around the walls of the phone, holding it up with my pinky is kinda irritating the skin. A thing that they can do is to make the charger port wall portion smooth so that people’s fingers wont hurt whilst typing on the phone. If you type alot on the phone might wanna consider this point.Other than that its great! would recommend it as it looks really slick and the shiny part of the case especially at the logo, it looks really good when the light reflects off it.

This really does have grippy sides and is stunning! I love this thin but protective case, it’s raised on the front! The mountain as you can tell are beautiful!Case is easy to install and your ready to go. So comfortable in your hand with groves that fingers sit nicely in.

Wireless charing not working

This case is simply amazing.- It�s incredibly thin and easy to grip. I expected it to be a rubbery grip on the sides but it�s not at all. The plastic is hard and textured (almost like really fine grit sandpaper?). The edges are not straight (wavy?) and this makes it really easy to hold.- The back is really plain looking and the branding is really minimal. This is my preference for cases- The MagSafe magnet is strong and all of my existing accessories work great.On top of everything else, it was only $18. If you want a thin case, this is it.

Normally I wouldn�t rate a phone case, but after trying 8 (EIGHT) different 15PM cases - this was hands down the best constructed, best fitting and best in hand. Never heard of this company before but wow - great cases and super reasonable prices.

Great case for the pool.

I've been a fan of Smartish cases. However, this new version of Gripmunk for the iPhone 15 series comes with a cloth fabric-like interior which actually causes the phone to get hotter than normal, potentially affecting battery longetivity. The older variants came with a plastic cover over the same area, so it was better with heat disspitation.Other than this inherent design flaw, the case is amazingly grippy, very sturdy and of great quality.

I like the raised edges for the camera bump and the textured sides. The case feels secure and isn't bulky. I've been buying this case every time I upgrade my iPhone and will continue to do so.

A simple case with an excellent grip. I would appreciate it if Smartish would make the case a bit more rigid and stylish (e.g., Caudabe Sheath). Perhaps the removal of the glossy border lines and minimizing the branding would improve the styling. My only real gripe is that the backplate has too much flex. MagSafe hold is solid.

Ordered a bunch of cases for my 15PM, and I kept this one. I had a wallet slayer for my old XR and 6s. The grip is great, the case is slim, and the buttons on this case are simply amazing.If the protection is like my XR and 6s case, it will be amazing. Can't really do better for the price imho.

Used to use Apple leather covers. Can�t anymore so looked on WireCutter for recommendation. They said Smartish. Really love the feel with a wave of grooves so you have good grip. Not a huge choice of Colors or designs but this is a nice blue with apple or cherry blossoms. Good price. I�m going to enjoy using it.

Exceptional textured grip and grooves on side of case. My only gripes are that the camera lip is too short to protect a camera cover from scratching, as well as the back part of the cover is too smooth.

I purchased a clear case from a competitor that worked fine, but was very slippery and hard to hold due to the type of plastic/rubber used to construct it. This case is great! The sides have small indentations to increase grip, along with a slightly rough texture that makes it very easy to hold.

So far it is working nicely and is very grippy! The Magsafe connection is strong and it fits nicely with another glass screen protector I have placed on the front as well as the camera bezel. Highly recommend this brand for those who want a lightweight yet protective option for the new iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I have used Smartish cases for many different iPhones over the years.I am saddened by the fact that this new case has followed the trend of putting cutout slits alongside all the buttons, when the previous cases did not do this. (see the new case next to the previous version in my photos)This weakens the case structure and, worst of all, allows for dust and debris to potentially accumulate in those slits.I hope they consider going back to the earlier design in the future, as I love the earlier model cases quite a lot.

No regrets. Better than any name brand

I have this case on an 11pm, 12pm which I gave both to my kids and now on my new 15pm. Hands down the best case out there. Fits perfect in the hand, not slippery at all, slides in and out of a pocket easily and it looks good. Buy it you wont be disappointed,

Texture is cool, fits good, magnet isn�t as strong as my MagBak case was.

Loved the color of the case! Also loved how slim the case was yet still felt like my phone is super protected. The MagSafe compatibility holds very strong and I would compare it to almost being as strong as Apple brand cases. All around great case!

Bought this case for how then it was and pleasantly surprised to how grippy the texture is. Doesn�t show finger prints at all! I haven�t tried the MagSafe yet but will report if not satisfactory.

Had a Smartish Gripzilla on my iPhone 12 and really liked it. When I bought my 15 Pro Max I wanted to go for a cleaner look. Smartish was the first place I looked and decided to go with the Gripmunk this time around. Still has a good amount of grip, very slight curvature on the sides where your finger sit. Felt lining inside the case to protect the back glass from minor scratches. Magnets seem to be fairly strong. Buttons are very easy to press and cutouts on the bottom are obviously what they should be. Feels like a very protective case without adding a lot of bulk. Smartish seems to be a good company so I'm happy to be doing business with them again.

I just got the iPhone 15 Pro Max, an upgrade from the iPhone 8 Plus after 5.5 years. I used this same type of Smartish case for my old phone for the entirety of those 5.5 years, and it protected my old phone well for that time period. So when it came time for a new case for the new phone, it was a no-brainer to buy another Smartish.The new case is far better than my old one. It fits the phone like a glove, looks and feels like it will provide very sturdy protection, and even has some indentations on both sides for your fingers, which I assume enhances the "grip-ability" of the case.I love it! Looking forward to more years of Smartish protection (though maybe I won't wait another 5.5 years for the next phone upgrade).

I love this case. The rubberized grip is effective but not bulky. MagSafe works great. At this price point and with its performance it will least be a repeat for me.

It's barely noticeable, but this case doesn't quite fit properly on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The lip is pushed outward and the top is slightly pushed up. I confirmed this is the 15 Pro Max case, so it's a slight issue with manufacturing or measurements. We're talking half a mm, but it's enough that the case doesn't fit properly.Sadly there are too many other options out there that snap on correctly. I'll update the review if they fix it.
